  • CLE CREDIT
    NARCA offers continuing legal education credit in almost every state that has MCLE, including New Jersey, which just began this requirement. Approvals have already been received from 14 states, with approved hours ranging from a maximum of 11 hours (including 2.4 hours Ethics) in states with a 50 minute CLE hour, to 9-9.5 hours (including 2 hours of Ethics) in states with a 60 minute CLE hour.

    Attending NARCA conferences is a great way to get your CLE credit plus get that hard-to-find practical, targeted education in credit and collection issues. Be sure to register for the Spring 2010 Conference in Washington, D.C.!


    SOCIAL EVENTS
    Get the most out of the Spring Collection Conference by participating in one or more of the social events. These events – one each day of the conference – encourage mingling with conference delegates and vendors, facilitating connections in an informal and fun setting. All social programs are included with Full Conference Registration for Members, Non-Members and Credit Grantors.

    Moonlight Tour of Washington
    MOONLIGHT TOUR: Tour the Nation’s capital, the city that belongs to all Americans. The core of the city is found in its beautiful and impressive monuments and memorials, bathed in spotlights; a reflection of the ongoing city planning which has contributed to making Washington one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

    The evening program will include a stop at the National World War II Memorial honoring all military veterans of the war, the citizens on the home front, the nation at large and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation’s call to arms during World War II and the defining event of the 20th century.

    We continue on to the FDR Memorial. Located across from the world famous Tidal Basin, the memorial features a park of granite walls, waterfalls and bronze sculptures that depict Roosevelt’s presidency from 1933-1945.

    Experience a night of moonlight merriment with light snacks and beverages in Washington DC aboard our 2-hour tour with your NARCA colleagues.


    CREDIT GRANTOR MEETINGS
    Client-Attorney (Credit Grantor) meetings are a wonderful opportunity for the client to share recent updates with their law firms while also leading group discussions regarding their legal collection community. Delegates are invited directly by Credit Grantors to join their client meetings or to join any meeting that is designated as "Open" by the creditor, debt buyer or forwarding network. All meetings are scheduled for one hour. Times are subject to change, and participating companies may be added or may cancel. If your organization is interested in hosting a meeting please call Diane Darrow NARCA’s Executive Vice President at: 941-345-3475.

    Conference registration is required to host and to attend a Credit Grantor Meeting. A Conference badge will be required to gain entrance to these meetings.

    AFFILIATED EVENTS

    NARCA encourages organizations, exhibitors & sponsors to host events that will enhance the experience of registered Conference delegates. All events must be approved by NARCA. Any NARCA registered conference attendee or exhibitor may hold or sponsor an event in their individual or corporate name as long as the event is open to all conference attendees without charge. NARCA will not approve of any parties and private events held in non-public environments and the hotel will monitor all affiliated events along with NARCA.

    If your organization is interested in hosting a meeting or networking event in conjunction with the NARCA Conference, please download an Affiliate Request Form and Guidelines here.

  • All events held in conjunction with the NARCA Conferences must be approved by NARCA’s Executive Vice President.
  • The hotel will only allow approved Affiliate Events to take place.
  • Affiliated Events cannot conflict with NARCA Conference sessions and events.
  • NARCA sessions and events run from the Opening Reception on Thursday through the end of the last educational session on Saturday.
  • NARCA will review all requests within 7 days.
  • All organizers and participants in Affiliated Events must be registered for the Conference – Conference registration and official badges will be required to enter.
  • All costs related to the event are the responsibility of the hosting company or organization.

  • MEET & GREET EVENT

    Once the Credit Grantors schedule their meeting they will be asked to participate in a “Meet & Greet” event with Conference Attendees. This event is designed to facilitate the development of relationships between NARCA attorneys and credit grantors. If there is sufficient interest you will have the opportunity to sign up on-site at Registration.
