The 2017 Election: An Impact Report for Members of The National Creditors Bar Association

Join NARCA Lobbyist, Geof Gradler of RR&G, for this brief informative session on how President-elect Donald Trump’s upset victory Tuesday might impact NARCA members. The stunning election results could create a new regulatory landscape, bringing to fruition the Republicans desire to replace or repeal the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform law, and rein in an agency that arose from that legislation—the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. All of these issues are opportunities for The National Creditors Bar Association to capitalize on creating FDCPA reform through an attorney exemption and related areas of Dodd-Frank reform related to the practice of law.
