NARCA is pleased to announce the 2015 scholarship award winners. Applicants were asked to submit a video on the topic – “The Pros and Cons of Student Loan Forgiveness.” The submissions were judged on originality, clarity and insight on the subject. The scholarship program was established to promote financial literacy to our future leaders of our communities.
Members of NARCA’s client community and NARCA members willingly served as judges again this year. NARCA wishes to thank the following judges for their commitment to this worthwhile project:

First Place Winner – Roger Jackson
Roger from Bush & Ramirez, PLLC received the $5000 Award. Formerly the president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and golf player for his high school, he is now an entering freshman at Texas A&M University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in General Business. He plans to get involved in a Christian organization on campus and will continue to play golf in his free time in college.
Second Place Winner – Emily Sheehan
Emily from Becket & Lee, LLP received one of the $1000 Awards. She is an entering freshman at Gettysburg College pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the science field with hopes of becoming a pediatrician. Not only will she be working hard towards her major, but she will also be playing softball for the college.
Third Place Winner – Sarah Price
Sarah from Gordon, Aylworth & Tami received the other $1000 Award. She is a sophomore at the University of Oregon pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science with hopes of becoming a computer programmer.
